On the special occasion of his birthday on October 6, Salman Khan, Prabhu Dheva and entire crew of Dabangg 3 paid tribute to the late actor with a heartfelt video. “So, aaj hamara Dabangg 3 ka last day tha. Hamara pack up ho chuka hai. Aur strange baat yeh hai ki, khushi ki baat yeh hai ki aaj hamare VK sir yani ke Vinod Khanna sir, unka aaj janamdin hai. So, hamare Prajapati Pandey sahab ka janamdin hai aur ussi din par hamara aaj, coincidentally and fortunately, hamari Dabangg 3 ki shooting ki pack up ho chuki hai. So, VK sir, we miss you, we all miss you. And we have Pramod sir (Pramod Khanna), your own brother, to play you in Dabangg 3. God bless you, VK sir. We really miss you (So, it was our last day on Dabangg 3. We have done the pack up. The strange thing is or the happy thing is that it is VK sir aka Vinod Khanna’s sir birthday today. It is our Prajapati Pandey’s birthday and we wrapped up Dabangg 3, coincidentally and fortunately, on the same day. So, VK sir, we miss you, we all miss you. Vinod Khanna passed away in April 2017. Dabangg 2 was his film before he fell sick. The actor’s role in the film will now be played by his brother Pramod Khanna. After his death, Salman had paid tribute to the actor by sharing a candid picture from their film.
Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha are all set to return with their fan favourite characters – Chubul Pandey and Rajjo – with the third installment of Dabangg. Dabangg 3 starring also stars Kichcha Sudeep, Arbaaz Khan, Saiee Manjrekar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Pramod Khanna.
